The last couple of months I have completely lost my knitting mojo. I see many patterns I'd like to make and lots of droolworthy yarn... but I feel uninspired regardless. The thought of making something beautiful is there, but when it comes to picking it up my enjoyment is only half-hearted. The only craft I've gotten any real enjoyment out of lately was needlefelting a anatomically correct voodoo doll for Kelly. Quick, satisfying, and a fun product. Maybe I need to take a vacation from knitting and try out some other crafts for a breath of fresh air. I've been browsing through the Paper Crafts section of Craftser and have seen some interesting projects. I love the idea of recycling paper, magazine clipping, old cards, etc. But since the husband and I have to be good on our budget for a while longer I can't buy any new supplies. Lord knows if I go into Joann's I won't be able to leave with only 1 or 2 things!
I'm going to go back wandering through the Craftster forums in search of something magical and inspiring. Work? What's that?

I will send the yarn loving knitting fairy to sprinkle some knitting mojo dust on you. Oh and by the way, that voodoo doll was fabulous.
I think everyone needs a voodoo doll with interchangable name tags....since I'm going through the dating phase.... (sigh)
