It's becoming more and more apparent to me that it's insanely difficult to start a product based business when you lack the capital to purchase necessary supplies. I went to place a large bulk order with a yarn manufacturer yesterday, but when the total came through I sadly realized I can't afford to do the start up out-of-pocket! I just wanted to wish you luck coming up with start up funds. For me, popular lip balm "flavors" have been peppermint and lime, lemongrass and sweet orange and while it sounds gross.... lavender and rosemary in a lip balm for relaxing aromatherapy is great. Also, you should look into small biz grants for women in your state... you'd be surprised you might find quite a bit! :-)
