ewe so dirty

I'm actively churning away at getting my homemade soap and bath products business up and running. Sometime this week I have to go down to the court house and register my DBA. Right now I'm doing my research on packaging and best bulk suppliers. For the start up I'm going to be taking preorders, with samples of the products for everyone to check out of course. I should be starting with handmade soap, bath salts, scrubs, and lip balm. Once I get kicked off there will be bath bombs, men's shaving soap, facial masks, foot & hand care, etc! I'm really excited about this... almost to the point were I'm annoying the crap out of the hubby. :)

If anyone has anything they've been looking for in the bath & body products world and want to give me ideas, let me know!

Also, which do you prefer: lip balm in a tube or a pot?

OOOOOH I am so excited for you! I will definitely be a customer, I love giving stuff like that as gifts! I'll have to think about stuff I'd love to see in that market...and I defintiely vote for lip balm in a tube...balm in a pot gets indescribably germy in no time flat.

I'm a tube girl too! I love any fruity soaps, I buy a bunch at the Sheep and Wool Festival, so if you'll be making them I can start getting mine from you. They work great with the knitted soap sac.

Tube, less finger germys that way.

How fantastic! Love bath goodies.

Good luck! :) I'd be interested in gentle, very gentle products for sensitive skin.

I prefer a tube, digging lip balm out of a pot tends to get under my nails. Yuck!

I prefer lip balm in a tube also. I find it to be more portable that way.

When I do use the balm in a pot, I leave it at home & use a q-tip to keep it from getting under my nails.
