cabin fever

That miserable cabin fever is starting to kick in... March is knocking on our doors and winter is showing no signs of leaving. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I'm sick of this weather. At least as I look out the window I'm greeted by a sun-shiny day.

It seems this weekend I've been constantly productive, but all in ways that I don't need to be. I really should focus on cleaning the house, but that's honestly the last thing that interests me! Instead this weekend I've kept myself busy with the following:

• Started and finished a pair of baby slippers and thumbless mittens.
  
• Played in the kitchen making chicken and dumplings, granola balls, and applesauce, which is currently simmering on the stove.
• Several loads of laundry, just as a consolation that I do clean. Somewhat.
• Dishes. I swear, the more dishes I do the bigger the backlog gets. I really miss having an actual dishwasher.

It's only 10am on Sunday... now what should I accomplish?
