I had a surprise break from work from Wednesday through Sunday and I'm happy to say I got a little obsessed with the latest pattern I cast on. I'm working on Tomato in Cotton-Ease. The MC is Taupe and the CC is Berry. I had originally bought a light blue, but decided to add a little variety to my wardrobe and returned it for the pink. I just have to say I looove me some top-down, in the round sweaters! I love the raglan increasing! Right now I am just past the fair isle portion. I have only done fair isle once before, and this was another pretty easy attempt. I did make a big boo-boo in my stitch count which resulted in ripping out about 8 rows of fair isle. I couldn't bring myself to touch it for the rest of the day after that catastrophe. Thankfully, I was able to pick it back up yesterday and chug along. I will try and post pictures soon, but the camera batteries are dead at the moment!

For those that may not have noticed; I wanted to alert you to the fact that Knit Picks has 40% off all their books. Go buy some, only because this poor girl needs to live vicariously through you!

I think we should declare a Tomato Day, when everyone who has made it wears it! To work, to the 'bou, wherever!!! I can't wait to see yours, the color choices sound great!

I haven't started my Tomato yet, but will as soon as I finish Green Gable. I too love the top-down in the round sweaters. I am loving the fact that I can try it on whenever I want.
