In a land called Frogalot...

Yesterday was not a good day in Knitting Land for me. I spent the whole day working my first Anastasia sock.

First Attempt: made it halfway through the foot when I finally decided it was just too big and I couldn't pretend it wasn't anymore. RIP RIP RIP

Second Attempt: I rewrote the pattern smaller(with Geek Husband's mathematical help). Either we figured it out wrong or I just jacked it up myself, but the spiraling wasn't working out right. RIP RIP RIP.

Now I'm back at square one, with just about 1 inch of toe done. My hands are still a little sore from yesterday and I have nothing to show for it! I freely admit that I was extremely tempted to buy a skein of sock yarn somewhere, somehow to make me feel better. However, I have succeeded in buying absolutely no yarn since early July and I'm committing myself to trudging on! It was especially hard since I'm using my last skein of sock yarn to do these socks. But budget demands I don't buy anything I don't actually need. Patience is a virtue....

I know it is frustrating when you have to frog something you have worked so hard on, but think of the positive, MORE Knitting. And with little to no money in the yarn budget, frogging is a good thing. LOL.
